Chef Daniel Green’s Korean Beef Tartare with Pink Lady Apples by Lenswood Apple


Serves 4

1 pink lady apple , cored and diced

1 lb fillet minion , finely sliced

1 clove crushed garlic

2 tablespoons honey

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1/4 cup soy sauce


1.Mix the garlic, soy, sesame oil and honey in a bowl. Add the beef and let it marinade in the refrigerator, covered for about an hour or longer.

2.Place the apple on a serving plate,  add the beef,  then a little marinade.

3.Serve with some chopped scallions
